Next to Café Ada is the Areal Ada: an open space that is currently used inefficiently. For the benefit of the vibrant Mirke district, we propose to create a quiet space for recreation and leisure. This concept is part of our Design Challenge for the Solar Decathlon Europe 21/22.
Our mobility hub on the main road contains a wide range of vehicles which can be used by residents and, in some cases, the public. The arcades offer a bicycle workshop, movable flower beds and playground equipment. The courtyard has hammocks, a climbing wall and a space for markets and cultural events.
A new bus stop next to Café Ada will connect people to the city. Froweinstraße on the west side of Café Ada can be temporarily divided into two closed-off zones, e.g. as a playground or for street parties.
