The construction site at the Mirker Bahnhof next to the Nordbahntrasse has been handed over to the Bergische Universität Wuppertal. This marks the start for the construction of the SDE21/22. Over the next few months, the construction of the international event can be observed between the Alte Glaserei, Utopiastadt, Uellendahler Straße and the Kulturkindergarten.
The public final of the Solar Decathlon Europe 21/22 will take place in Wuppertal from the 10th to 26th of June, 2022. For this, 18 student teams from 11 countries are building climate-friendly houses on the Nordbahntrasse.
