In the summer of 2022 the Solar Decathlon Europe 21/22 (SDE) presented student ideas on how cities can continue to be built in a sustainable, environmentally and socially responsible way: Over 115,000 visitors came to Wuppertal to experience the event live on site. Now the University of Wuppertal published over 300 pages which let you relive the competition.
The book is a comprehensive documentation of the SDE21/22 and gathers some exciting findings. It starts with a foreword by Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Dr Robert Habeck and continues to recap last year’s event. Each team and their concepts is presented in detail alongside some nice photographs. The book is written in English and now freely available online for everyone.
