At the beginning of the semester, the Master’s courses Ecology/Energy II, Building Technology, and Load-bearing Construction went on an excursion to Mirke in Wuppertal to get a feel for the Mirke district and Café Ada.
The students and lecturers visited the competition site of SDE21 and the Gründerzeit district of Mirke before stopping at Café Ada. There they were able to experience the cheerful atmosphere of the café and they realised that this special place must be preserved.
